Block Island

Larger View

The object of the game is to strike all six dice with the suspended tennis ball to reach the total maximum points of – 36pts.

Place the game on a level surface. Stack the dice into a pyramid shape on the elevated block. The player is to knock down the dice by pulling back and then releasing the tennis ball suspended from the chain. The dice that scatter are counted and tallied for points.

Hint: Have a specific point on the face of each dice always turned toward the players at the start of each new game to help keep the game “fair”. Determine in advance how many swings of the tennis ball each player should get per game. A point system will work great in order to reward the players accordingly. For example, If only four dice fall from the island, dice A lands on 5, dice B lands on 1, dice C lands on 3 and dice D lands on 5, the player has obtained a total of 14 points.

Over & Under

Larger View

The object of the game is to score over 9 points and under 15 points if you are playing with 3 balls played, and to score over 15 points and under 24 points if you are playing with 6 balls.

Place the game on a level surface. Place a ¼” thickness of cardboard (or whatever works) at the front end of the game to angle the playing surface back slightly so the balls don’t hang up on the dividers.

Have the player roll the balls, one at a time, towards the slots at the end. As the balls land in the numbered slots add them all up at the completion of the play and determine if the total is over 9 points and under 15 points (3 ball play) or over 15 points and under 24 points (6 ball play).

If the total is between 10 and 14 (3 ball play) or between 16 and 23 (6 ball play), you have a winner!

Shuffle Board

Larger View

The object of the game is to score the most points by using only 3 discs.

Place the game on a level surface. The player must use their hands to slide the discs down the board and try to land the discs into the holes on the game board. Players can also do this by knocking a disc, which is already on the board, into another disc to get them into one of the holes. The holes decrease in worth in successive order. For example, use the diagram below.

Over The Hump

Larger View

The object of the game is to roll the ball in such a way that it clears the first hump and, as it rolls up the second rise and back down toward the first hump, it comes to rest in the trough between the two humps. Easy enough? Absolutely not!

Place the game on a LEVEL surface. Any age group does not easily conquer this game. Teens are challenged and beaten by it constantly!

Bowling

Larger View

Just like the real thing! Place the game on a level surface. Mark a line a couple of feet away from the front of the game that the bowlers may not cross. Roll the bowling ball down the bowling lane with as much force as possible. As the ball hits the pin(s) they will flip up and over, indicating the number of points earned.

Hint: A point system rewards the players. For example, each player gets a total of 4 rolls down the bowling lane and the point system is as such:

6 pins: 100pts (strike) 2 pins: 20pts
5 pins: 75pts (spare) 1 pins: 10pts
4 pins: 40pts 0 pins: 0pts
3 pins: 30pts

Wheel of Fortune

Larger View

The object of the game is to have the players place a ticket on a number (numbered apron provided) they would like to see win. Spin the wheel and whichever number comes up is the big winner!

Hint: Allow only one ticket per number.

Hint: Only spin the wheel after a certain percentage (or all) the numbers are covered. The prize awarded for this game (number of tickets or an actual prize) should be calculated on a minimum number of tickets it collects with each play. Remember, only one number wins when selected.

Hint: It is possible to have A GRAND PRIZE, 2nd Prize and 3rd Prize; The winning number is the grand prize. The closest number played to the left on the apron is the 2nd prize and the closest number played on the right is the 3rd prize.
